Scouting Team player Simon Omekanda (15/09/1984), right winger, former International U17 USA and currenty playing for Royal Union St. Gilloise in Belgium is on trial with AFC Tubize. For this reason, Scouting Team Country Managers Benjamin Adler and Alexandre Gervy organised a test match between the two reserve teams of Jupiler League clubs Tubize and Standard de Liege in the Leburton's Stadium of Tubize. Standard de Liege B played with 3 professional players: De Camargo, Ingaro and Da Silva.

Even AFC Tubize B lost the game, Simon Omekanda showed an excellent performance and was elected best player of Tubize B.
