Newly Signed Scouting Team Striker Osumanu Fires St. Mirren To Victory

Newly signed striker, Osumanu Otoo, excited St. Mirren´s fans when he powered Saint Mirren FC to 2-1 victory over Soccer Learners FC in their second week zone 3a Division 1 League played at the Zaytuna Park (Banana Inn Manbrook Park) last Saturday. Displaying amazing skill and instinctive strike abilities, Osumanu Otoo not only scored the first but had a hand in the other goal scored by his side. St. Mirren who played aggressively, were in complete dominance and scored their first goal in the 50th minute when winger Solomon Lamptey´s cross was powerfully headed into the net by David Kotey. But St. Mirren had to wait until late in the second half when Osumanu struck. He received a pass from veteran Chief Appiah in midfield, before he raced towards the penalty area and unleashed a 35 yards thunderbolt to give his side an emphatic win. This was a fantastic goal and a stunning performance from the youngster.

Osumanu Otoo has been discovered by Scouting Team´s General Manager Joseph Epton in last year´s Accra West Colt´s league before he was transferred to St. Mrren in Division 1.
