Young Sensation Osumanu Strikes Again Against Kadjebi FC In Division 1

Young Osumanu Mahatma Otoo proved again he is on the threshold of becoming the wonder kid of the Division 1 League in Ghana when he again inspired Saint Mirren to an emphatic 3-1 win over Kadjebi United at the Indadfa Park, Mamprobi. Just a week later, after another brilliant performance against Soccer Learners FC, the youngster dazed opponents Kedjebi FC with sheer brilliance and put his side on the victory path with another superb strike.

Both team´s started the game with an explosive tempo, showing the willingness and determination to win this game. But it was again young sensation, Osumanu, who stunned the fans in the 9th minute when he received the ball in the half of his opponents, dribbled around three defenders before volleying the ball past goalkeeper James Korley to put Mirren in the lead.

Osumanu came close with another fine display in the 18th minute when his brilliant overhead kick was saved this time by goalkeeper Korley. Kedjebi FC recovered from the early shock and equalized from the penalty spot. Felix Nelson converted the spot kick for Kedjebi. But St. Mirren came back once again. Winger Solomon Lampety put Mirren into the lead again. Towards the end of the game, the sheer unstoppable Osumanu was brought down in the penalty box and the resulting spot kick sealed the victory . Abu Farouk converted the penalty easily to make it 3-1.

Again Osumanu showed a brilliant performance and his enormous potential. The youngster is on the right track and gets closer and closer to a call up for the Black Starlets.
